Association of Ceramic Collectors of Quebec (ACCQ)


Welcome to the site of  the Quebec Ceramic Collectors Association (ACCQ). Members of our group include enthusiasts of Quebec ceramic, whether ceramics of the Nineteenth or Twentieth Century varieties. We encourage participation and greet those who share similar interests.

Our main objectives:
  • To promote the Study, Knowledge and Collection of Quebec ceramic.
  • To provide collector-members with a tool to appreciate the field of Quebec ceramic craft understanding it’s context in history and identifying the crafts persons who have made and continue to make clay objects.

Our Activities:
  • Five Annual Meetings held in provincial locations.
  • Auctions
  • Contacts and Exchanges of information
  • Lectures
  • Exhibitions Mounted and/or Visited by membres
  • Workshops or Local Museum visits

CÉRAMAG: A Journal for Members

 

Published yearly, CÉRAMAG is the official organ of ACCQ.
Our Meetings:
  • Thematic Presentations: members are called upon to dicuss their objects and present some of their finds.
  • Identification of unattributed objects.
  • Auctions: a way to part with some pieces, or get new ones
  • Photography : a space is reserved for this activity at meetings.
  • Convivial Dinners in a restaurant who welcomes us or in one nearby.
  • Distribution of CÉRAMAG to attending members.

Annual Membership Fees 2013 or 2014:

$30.00 Associate or Family Members at the same address,
$30.00 Institutional.
